COTA Tasmania’s third Piecing it Together street art project was organised as a collaboration with Glenorchy City Council, Cosgrove High School, RACV, National Motor Vehicle Theft Reduction Council and COTA Tasmania.
The organisations involved were keen to have an opportunity to give back to the community and brighten a dull space, after a difficult 2020 and additional stress Cosgrove High School experienced after a fire later that year. The concept of CommUNITY and using street art to support connection was the driving force of Piecing it Together V0.3.
PiT Crew #2021 was our biggest group yet, with 18 participants working together over 2 weeks (in winter!!) and had a wonderfully inspiring workshop space of St Matthew’s Church to work from. Alongside Jamin Kluss, Luke Emmerton provided guidance, humour and support to our group and it was great to have another artists perspective and ideas.

We would love as many people to visit our ‘eyes’ – you’ll find them in Cooper St, Glenorchy, a one way street behind the Big W shop.
Thank you to all our supporters who made this project possible:
