The Channel Museum has permanent exhibitions that explore early exploration, Aborigines, timber, boat building, fruit growing, fishing, sport, churches, transport, the 1967 bushfires, and militaria. The museum also has a gallery featuring local artists and organisations, a research room and an extensive collection of Channel family histories and is developing a local history research group.
