Seniors Week Registration

Seniors Week celebrates older Tasmanians and recognises the many contributions we make to our communities.

It is a statewide week of events designed for older Tasmanians, their families, and communities to enjoy together.

Dates: 13–19 October 2025

This information will be used in the official Celebrate Ageing Seniors Month Event Guide.

I, the undersigned, declare that I am an authorised representative of the Organisation named in this registration and have the authority to sign on its behalf. I confirm that: I have read and understood this Declaration and Disclaimer and acknowledge that it is binding on the Organisation. The information provided in this Registration Form is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. The Organisation’s activities will be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws, including public health and safety requirements, and any rights and obligations relevant to individuals attending the activity. The Organisation holds appropriate insurance cover for risks arising from its activities. COTA Tasmania (Council on the Ageing) Incorporated, including its employees, agents and contractors, is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the Organisation in connection with its inclusion in the Celebration Ageing Seniors Month Event Guide. This includes, but is not limited to, any negligent act or omission. The Organisation agrees to indemnify COTA Tasmania (Council on the Ageing) Incorporated and its employees, agents and contractors against any loss, damage or legal liability incurred as a result of the Organisation’s activities or inclusion in the Celebration Ageing Seniors Month Event Guide, including damage to property or financial loss suffered by third parties. The Organisation will not claim or imply that inclusion in the Celebration Ageing Seniors Month Event Guide or use of the Celebration Ageing Seniors Month logo constitutes endorsement or support of the Organisation, its products or services by COTA Tasmania. The decision of COTA Tasmania regarding the inclusion of events in the Celebration Ageing Seniors Month Events Guide is final and no further correspondence will be entered into. The Organisation acknowledges that applications to be included in the Celebration Ageing Seniors Month Events Guide must be received by the due date. Late submissions may not be accepted. If an event is cancelled or amended after submission, the Organisation will notify COTA Tasmania as soon as possible. While COTA Tasmania will make reasonable efforts to update event information, changes may not be reflected in printed materials. If an event has required bookings, it is the responsibility of the Organisation to contact all persons who have booked about the cancellation. *

Section 4: Celebrate Ageing Seniors Month Events Guide Requirements

This information is for office use only and will not be published in the Celebrate Ageing Seniors Month Events Guide. Guides should be available for collection at Service Tasmania shops, libraries and local councils.
