COTA Tasmania would like to sincerely thank Hazell Bros for their generous donation of approximately 40 refurbished mobile phones to support the Generations Connect: Tech Together program.
This latest contribution follows Hazell Bros’ recent donation of 25 tablets to the program last month, continuing their strong support for helping older Tasmanians build confidence with technology and stay connected with their communities.

The donated devices will help older Tasmanians stay in touch with family and friends, access important online services, and build confidence navigating the digital world.
The Generations Connect: Tech Together program brings older people and younger generations together through digital learning and shared experiences, helping reduce social isolation while creating meaningful connections across generations. Generations Connect Program Coordinator Mel Knuckey said the support from Hazell Bros will make a real difference for many older Tasmanians.
“Access to technology can make a huge difference for older people, particularly for those who may feel isolated or disconnected,” Mel said.
“We are incredibly grateful to Hazell Bros and their ICT team for their generosity, care, and support. These devices will help older Tasmanians feel more confident, connected, and included.”
COTA Tasmania also thanks the Hazell Bros ICT team for preparing and setting up each device ready for community use. Their support and community spirit will have a lasting impact on the lives of many older Tasmanians across the state.
