Bicycle Network’s Back on your Bike program delivering programs all through autumn to keep locals moving through the chillier months.
Back on your Bike helps people develop riding skills like braking, riding slowly, using gears, turning and basic bike maintenance. It can also help people ride more confidently on roads and explore local paths.
We’re offering sessions to help people who need some extra encouragement to get back on a bike, it doesn’t matter if you want to ride to the shops, to spend more time with your kids or grand kids or just get more active, these sessions can help.
The sessions are designed for people with a wide range of skill levels, including people who may not have ridden for many years. So, if you’re a bit of a wobbler, don’t know how to use gears properly or worry you’re not going to be able to stop in time, come along!
If you don’t have a bike yet, you can try out some of the models we have which include easy-riding step throughs, mountain bikes or a range of e-bikes to try if you’re thinking of purchasing one.
