Craig Chadwick has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of COTA Tasmania, the peak organisation advocating for the rights of Older Tasmanians.
The Tasmanian Government, in partnership with Aspen Medical Group, is running COVID-19 vaccination clinics for people who may require additional support. The clinics are for people living with disability and/or mental illness, their carers, disability support workers, and people who have anxiety.
Tasmania has the oldest population in the country, with around 20 per cent of Tasmanian residents aged
65 or over. Despite this, there is currently no tailored mental health response for older Tasmanians.
Are you interested in policy issues impacting older Tasmanians? COTA Tasmania is looking for interested people to assist our work as members of the COTA Tasmania Policy Council.
