Seniors Week
Seniors Week celebrates older Tasmanians and recognises the many contributions we make to our communities.
It is a statewide week of events designed for older Tasmanians, their families, and communities to enjoy together.
Dates: 13–19 October 2025
Theme: Connecting Generations through Food
Why Food?
Food connects us. It shows love, tells stories, marks milestones, creates memories, and brings people together from all walks of life. For thousands of years, food has shaped fashion, function, connection, homes, chemistry, and history.

Meet our Seniors Week Partners and Supporters
Seniors Week is made possible thanks to the support of the Tasmanian Government and our valued sponsors and partners.
Each year, their generosity and support enable COTA Tasmania to go further–delivering more events, reaching more communities, and creating even greater opportunities for older Tasmanians to connect, celebrate, and thrive.
We deeply appreciate their commitment to making Tasmania a respectful, age-friendly place where older Tasmanians are valued, included, and supported.
