Join a Walk Against Elder Abuse in Burnie on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, 15 June.
The Burnie walk on 15 June starts in Wilmot Street across the road from the cinema. Gather at 9.45am for a 10am start. A light morning tea will be served at Burnie Library after the walk.
Every year on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, families, students, community members, workers and volunteers unite to raise awareness of elder abuse and the ageism that drives it.
