The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) arranges volunteers to visit face to face with older people to provide friendship and companionship. The Scheme is available to anyone receiving government-subsidised residential aged care or a Home Care Package.
Lifeline Tasmania is the ACCVS network member for Tasmania. Contact Lifeline Tasmania if you have questions about the ACVVS, want to refer someone or yourself to the ACCVS, or would like to become a volunteer visitor.
