The Wellbeing Toolkit - Short Courses

The University of Tasmania is providing short courses to support a more confident and resilient community, and help Tasmanians face the challenges of COVID-19. Four modules can be chosen, which can include family history, healthy eating, mindfulness, financial planning and the environment.

Inala Jurassic Garden & Nature Museum

Inala’s Jurassic Garden gives an insight into the heady times when Australia was part of the supercontinent Gondwana 185 million years ago. While people can't visit Inala during COVID-19, they can continue to learn about the garden, its ancient plants, and its wildlife through short videos on Facebook and YouTube.

North East Tasmania Field Naturalist Club

The North East Tasmania Field Naturalist Club conducts regular excursions to diverse places of interest to encourage the study and appreciation of the natural world and support its conservation.

Launceston Field Naturalists Club

The Launceston Field Naturalists Club aims to encourage the study of all aspects of natural history and to support the conservation of our natural heritage. Monthly meetings feature talks. Regular field trips study many aspects of natural history. Visitors are most welcome to attend meetings and field trips.
