Deloraine Table Tennis

Deloraine Table Tennis

WANTING A NEW CHALLENGE? TRY TABLE TENNIS.

Table tennis is  a wonderful way to maintain your physical and mental fitness. Renowned physician, psychiatrist and brain imaging expert, Dr Daniel Amen, calls table tennis “the world’s best brain sport”. Dr Miriam Stoppard says “Table tennis is the perfect activity to keep well. It doesn’t only keep your body fit, it keeps your brain fit. All that complicated hand-eye co-ordination works its magic with brain cells and helps prevent dementia”.

We play every Wednesday evening from 7 to 9.00 pm at the Deloraine Performing Arts Centre (between the bridge and the police station). All standards are most welcome. Pop in on any Wednesday evening and have a look or give it a go.

There are always free tables for a social hit. And coaching is available.
