Walking Soccer

We are promoting this activity in a variety of areas in South East Tas/greater Hobart region. This is open to men and women 50 years plus. Whether you have played previously or not is unnecessary as basic rules and skill sets are run through for beginners.

Deloraine Table Tennis

WANTING A NEW CHALLENGE? TRY TABLE TENNIS. “The world’s best brain sport”.We play every Wednesday evening from 7 to 9.00 pm at the Deloraine Performing Arts Centre (between the bridge and the police station). All standards are most welcome. Pop in on any Wednesday evening and have a look or give it a go.

Silver Salties

Silver Salties is a physical activity and social connections initiative for Older Australians designed by Surf Life Saving Australia. Various sessions on during January at Sandy Bay beach - see link for details.

Come and Try Croquet

Come and try this easy to play social sport at the Northern Tasmanian Croquet Centre. Suitable for all ages and abilities. Individuals and groups welcome, 8 lawns and easy parking. All equipment provided first visit free, must wear flat soled shoes.

Indoor Lawn Bowls

All indoor lawn bowls games are social and open to men and women. New members are always welcome, so come along, make some new friends, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with morning tea, and have a great time!

Bicycle Network Ambassador Routes

Bicycle Network's Ambassador Routes are self-guided rides where you pick which ride you want to do and download the map and cue sheet. The website has photos of what you can expect along the ride, as well as some of the sites you may be able to stop at along the way. There are rides covering most areas of Tasmania, take a look and see which one is close to you.
