Our second Navigating a Journey 45+ Expo with West North West Jobs Hub was a great success.

This year’s survey provides interesting insights into HR professionals’ attitudes and behaviours towards older workers, as employers emerge from the pandemic and face labour shortages due to limited

West by North West Working Jobs Hub and COTA Tasmania are holding an expo aimed for those 45 and over, looking at navigating various aspects of their life ranging from employment, education, training, or retirement.

The Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment Bill 2022 will reduce the disadvantage experienced by older Tasmanian workers injured at an older age, by doubling the time before the age-related ending of workers compensation provisions kick in.

COTA Tasmania is pleased to announce that its updated Liveable Communities Toolkit was launched by the Hon. Jeremy Rockliff MP, and featured presentations from COTA Tas, LGAT, West Coast Council, Clarence City Council, Huon Valley Council, and Central Coast Council.
