Walks and free morning teas lead the way on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day in Launceston, Burnie and Hobart. In Burnie, there's also a free exhibition, while on the national stage our CEO Sue Leitch and Senior Assist's Gemma Misrachi are part of an expert panel talking about Australia's response.
10:00am, 15 June 2022, Event starts in the Elizabeth Street Mall and finishes at Mathers House in Bathurst Street.
On World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, march through Hobart city with COTA Tasmania and passionate people of all ages to support the right of older Tasmanians to live free from ageism and abuse. We start in Elizabeth Street Mall and end with a free morning tea provided by our friends at Mathers House.
10:00am, 15 June 2022, Event starts under cover on the Wilmot Street footpath across the road from the cinemas and ends at the Function Centre.
