Contemporay dance - low impact classes for 55s and over

This wonderful and inclusive class is tailored for adults with no previous experience in contemporary dance or other dance techniques. Students will learn the basic techniques of contemporary dance, combined with strengthening and stretching exercises.

Ballet for seniors - 55 and over

Suitable for adults ages 55 and over who have little or no prior ballet experience, knowledge of terminology, or the steps, right through to the more advanced dancer, these classes offer adults the artistic pleasure of learning classical ballet, whilst developing a basic technique. Exercises comply with a true classical technique, which strengthens and conditions the body, all while staying within the physical parameters appropriate for a senior dancer.

Walking Soccer

We are promoting this activity in a variety of areas in South East Tas/greater Hobart region. This is open to men and women 50 years plus. Whether you have played previously or not is unnecessary as basic rules and skill sets are run through for beginners.

Diversity Line Dancing

Diversity line dancing is a great atmosphere for everyone from beginners through to experienced dancers, all is welcome. Classes are held at Max Fry Hall Trevallyn.

Deloraine Table Tennis

WANTING A NEW CHALLENGE? TRY TABLE TENNIS. “The world’s best brain sport”.We play every Wednesday evening from 7 to 9.00 pm at the Deloraine Performing Arts Centre (between the bridge and the police station). All standards are most welcome. Pop in on any Wednesday evening and have a look or give it a go.
